"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination."

  Leviticus 18:22

The massacre of human life in an Orlando gay club is a terrible tragedy. We should lament the deaths of those who died and the sufferings of those wounded. We applaud those who donated blood to help save their lives. Our hearts are moved for the victims' families who have lost precious sons and daughters, fathers and mothers. We should condemn the actions of the murderer who inflicted such terror, whatever his motives were. Indeed, God will condemn him for his evil work. Yet, we need to ponder this atrocity more carefully. The evils that have taken place in this lawless brutality do not in any way minimize the moral evils inherent in the LGBT behavior. God does not give to one lawless impenitent sinner the right to shoot another impenitent sinner, nor a crowd of them. (This is not to accuse all present at the event of being LGBT, which is more than I can say with certainty.) But this does not affect the truth that both are engaged in sinful behavior. Both need to repent of their sins, and God has promised forgiveness to each if each will believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and His righteousness and if each will repent of his/her sins. The Old and New Testaments plainly and repeatedly condemn murder and they as plainly and repeatedly condemn the LGBT agenda. All attempts at contorting and twisting the Bible to justify such immorality are woefully deficient. What needs to be understood is that there is a suffering much more serious of which to be fearful than being shot up in a club or a march. Men hate suffering, but God hates sin. God hates murder, and He hates immorality. He not only hates it, He promises to punish it. When Christ taught His disciples he said to them, "Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather, fear Him (God) who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:27,28. "For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature." Romans 1:27. God's eyes are on us.
