“... all who are in the graves will hear His voice.”

Death is temporary. We live and we die, but we shall not remain dead. Jesus Christ will empty every cemetery. He indicated that an hour is coming in which all who are in the graves would hear His voice and arise--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. Death is a separation of body and spirit, “… the body without the spirit is dead …” Resurrection is a reunification of the body and spirit, and reunified, each of us will either enter the everlasting kingdom of God or be cast into hell. Dear reader, we are morally accountable creatures of God, and as such we shall all stand before Jesus Christ for judgment. As our bodies participate in our obedience or disobedience to God, so they will participate either in the blessings of God’s kingdom where there shall be no more death, or sickness, or pain or in the torments and sufferings of hell. Jesus warned, “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you
that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” We will all live forever, either enjoying God’s grace or enduring His justice. Those who trust, not in their own goodness, but in the obedience and sacrifice of Jesus Christ for their salvation will enjoy an undying resurrection body which is not the result of science but of redemption. The glorious resurrection body is the result of Jesus’ conquest over sin by His life, death, and resurrection. He alone is able to save us from our sins. And He is as willing to save as He is able. Confess your sins to Him, and call upon Him for mercy.
